Tik Tok is hands down the funniest app … it also has the most sensitive crybabies …Tiktok is hilarious

Repeating it doesn't make you right
Nikkas keep telling you in detail why they're uncomfortable with a Chinese app and you keep doubling down on "nobody cares who owns an app"
You really want this to be a "coli and reddit nikkas are awkward lol" issue like this hasn't been national news for years
No one knows or cares about who owns the Coli. Nikkas know China owns Tik Tok and there are people that are reasonably uncomfortable with that. Nikkas that even admit Tik Tok is a great app have concerns with it literally being Chinese spyware
I know you thought this thread was an opportunity to be the cool nikka on a message board but the premise is weak![]()
It's literally a chinese spyware device!!!!do people still dont understand this???

My only experience with forums is sohh/thecoli and this is an echo changer because there’s large one demographic here. 30-40 year old black male that’s either socially awkward or out of touchNah, when it isn't anonymous people censor themselves or hang out in echo chambers or don't really present interesting ideas because it's riskier.
Facebook discussions are generally more tame and stupid than shyt I'll see on smart forums. BUT if you only use theColi, then I can see how you feel that way, I generally use thecoli for my "funny" forum. But there are forums with more serious and intelligent communities.
Expand on why it's different now. I mean...I might agree that it is or has been influenced by social media's stupidity more (in the early 2000's reputation systems or "daps" and "negs" didn't exist. that's some social hierarchy shyt that social media brought along.)
Why are you uncomfortable with social media apps?I'm uncomfortable with social media apps, so you know what I do? I don't install them, I don't call for authoritarian laws to censor what software people have access too. the U.S government agrument isn't about the content on the app but the companies possible motives even though the business model is completely legal.
if they have a problem with a companies business model, they should regulate the business model, not target a specific business while leaving hundreds or thousands of other companies to do the exact same thing.
Why are you uncomfortable with social media apps?
I don’t understand why someone would sit around and worry about that to the point it affects their social interactionsbecause of the constant surveillance and abuse of data collected by corporations and government.

Yes, I know that. You don't think they have access to private and public user data for IG? Facebook? Twitter? They do, because congress literally places no limits on how data is shared or sold. You don't want outside countries having access to US data...Then you have to close the entire loop.
You're comparing the ability of outside actors to buy data directly from Facebook, for example, to Bytedance being legally bound by China to share access to user data. The two are not the same. There's no paid or free Facbook portal or api I can use to gain access to private user data.
lol why you stop replying @Matt504Breh...facebook has data sharing partnerships with at least 4 chinese electronics companies. Huwaei, Lenovo, Oppo and TCL. You honestly believe these companies aren't sharing this information with the chinese government. We aren't talking about you and I...we're talking about governments here.
What personal info do you have on tik tok?because of the constant surveillance and abuse of data collected by corporations and government.

This isn’t a take from real life. You’re delusionalthose who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. people have no idea how their data can be weaponized and used against them, yet they share it freely.
lots of people social interacted and let others know online where they were by checking in with FourSquare and thieves used that info to rob them their homes because they knew they where they were. now that info is found out on facebook and instagram. isn't that how those robbers found out where pop smoke was located because he doxxed himself while social interacting.
we have little to no privacy protections but yet people are giving info that Statsi could only dream about obtaining.
A.I has changed the game for scammers and now peoples voices are getting cloned.
I've have had to pushback on an employer wanting me to install whatsapp on my phone. I said email is just fine or we can use another non-privacy invasive app.
when i was in college I had to get a wsj subscription which was free for students for like 3 or 6 months, well there was a two typos in my name and for years i I've been receiving junk mail with those typos. they've tapered off. but every since i got the first two junk mails I start lying in the form of typos to see where my data ends up and who is selling it.
This isn’t a take from real life. You’re delusional
