This. When i was shopping for new cars in feb i had camaros on my list. Love the body style. Test drove 5 of em. I can see after a month i would be fed up with crawling in and out of the damn thing. Plus your line of sight when your driving is severely hampered.

Even though I love the Vette & it's one of my favorite sports cars, the fact that it sits too damn low & is claustrophobic inside is why I would never purchase one. And the older Camaro (5th Gen) (2009 -2015) weren't that bad as far as forward visibility and interior room up front, but the new 2016 Camaro's (6th Gen) are much smaller inside & not as wide as the previous version so the interior is cramped as hell & uncomfortable plus the hood lines are so bad now to where you can barely see the road over the hood no matter how many seat/steering wheel adjustments are made.

For the money and the amount of muscle you get out of a vette ....it's a solid car.
Even compared to the super sports car, muscle wise it's something to deal with, but the quality of the body, design, and interior are subpar.

You missed the point of my post.
I pointed out that American sportscar engineering is lacking and has been subpar at best for years.
The example I gave of a 3.4 million dollar car showed impeccable car engineering that domestic based car companies clearly can't match regardless of the price tag of the vehicle.
If you wanna go with same or similar price rage as a 2016 corvette I'd take a:
BMW i8
Alfa Romera 4C Spider
Nissan GTR
Over the Corvette any day of he week in my humble opinion.
