Nah. I'm sitting at 360 hp now. I can gain conservatively 70 more horses with all that and maybe the cam...a mild one tho. All motor too, maybe just the intake manifold, a camaro diff, and a porting. I could be off/over....either way mid 400. These are cheap upgrades besides the cam and headers.

R8s, Vettes, and Porsches are literally the only sportcars that retain value. BMW i8's are going for 95-110k used and they've only been out a year. C7's have been out close to 3 years now and are still 50k on average.

They fall off the value cliff after the body styles change...they hold no value. You gotta get a zr1 or I think it's a z06 (100k+) to even possibly make it a good investment.

Corvette's change bodystyles every 8-10 years tho... C8 isn't due until 2022. Show me a sports car that doesn't have a drastic MSRP depreciation after 10 years. I can get a 2006 911 for $35k in the year 2016. Originally it was a $77,000 car. A z06 is just 70k fyi.

U can get a Gallardo right now for 95k-125k, they aren't exempt from anything either. People with Aston Martins are notoriously underwater on their auto loans bc of how rapid they depreciate. 'Vette depreciates far better than it's competitors.

GM deliberately does a price increase on the C7 every year. that's inflation to counter deflation of the used models becoming cheaper when they're cycled out of a lease.
