Unfortunately that's the only way guys like Cesaro and Bray will ever become World Champions. And lets not act like SmackDown never Main Evented PPVs

I hated with a passion how 2nd-tier main eventers like Edge, Sheamus, Del Rio, etc were all World Champions but were always looked underneath HBK, Cena, Angle, etc on Raw. I like having one World Champion.

No way I'm hell should they do a brand split when they can't even develop characters enough to be worth that time. the product is already watered down enough, but you wanna water them down even more??? All we'd get is the equivalent of Heidenreich vs Orlando Jordan, Mordecai vs Scottie 2 Hottie and Rico & Charlie Haas vs Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly.

I cant even go back and watch those old ppvs from like 2002-2006 cause they were reaching for midcarders to make magic and it always sucked

Yeah, writing is another thing. You know how they started having rematches week after week in the brand split era?

Yup, by the end of the year, Randy Orton would have fought Sheamus about 100 times in singles, tag team, and pay-per-view matches. They have writers in the double digits and one of the most talented rosters in wrestling but they can't even make quality material for a three-hour RAW.

I always enjoyed the brand split but chances are, they'll end up screwing that up too.

If ratings get into the 1's, they won't have a choice but to ditch the 3 hours.

Only way they'd drop the 3rd hour is if they get lower ratings than other programs that could go in that slot. Mr. Robot, which has gotten a lot of praise, had around 1.2 million viewers for their season finale, which is still much less than what the worst hour of RAW has.

alot of companies have multiple sales teams competing against each other. Competition breeds innovation and leads to more money for everyone. Lack of competition gives us the crap we've had for the past 10+ years. Look at how much money EVERYONE was making during the Monday Night Wars. If they had any grapefruits, they'd do a legit brand/roster/staff split and have them working to outdo each other

I don't know how they can fill in all three hours with a brand split unless they have a NXT or Smackdown showcase match every Monday.

Also while they aren't at Attitude Era level ratings, the only thing beating RAW on cable at the moment is The Walking Dead and The People vs OJ.

NXT isn't on TV and doesn't tour all year like the 2 WWE tours. NXT loses money. RAW pays them over 100 mil a year. It's not the same

Raw is going to stay 3hrs for the foreseeable future. if anything SD might mess around and go three hours if USA can't get anything else popin outside of Mr.Robot

I can't get behind a brand split there's not enough over talent to keep it legit. They just need to focus outside of cena/Reigns and make some stars.

As everything in WWE it will work for a couple of weeks or 1 PPV because it will be something "new", but then they'll book themselves into a corner and fukk everything up


And they already have a brand split with NXT. No need for another brand imo.
