"Date Rape" has those banging drums and that dope bassline! I love that sh*t!! That's one of my favorite beats on the album. And that's my favorite album of all-time too.

Ain't no skips on Red's first album or Diamond's. I copped both of those on cassette as a kid, and would just let those joints play straight through, back in the day. No fast forwarding.

Every album has skips, but just because the song is skippable doesnt mean its bad; and it doesnt bring the value of the overall value down. Even the best albums have standouts/songs that are your favorites; therefore you'll skip songs to get to the ones you like the most. The Chronic is one of my favorites albums ever, and I love every song on there; but Ill definitely skip Deez Nuts to get to Lil Ghetto Boy. Its a very simple fukking concept. I skip songs I like all the time for the one I like even more. And sometimes it depends what Im in the mood to hear.

One Time For Your Mind, Aint No nikka, and Jigga That nikka are instant skips for me.

I never knew one time for your mind was on illmatic untill years later. I always only heard all the other tracks untill I bought the CD.

IMO, there have been some zero skip albums in the past 4-5 years. No need to even go back to the 90’s and 2000’s where there were many more.
