Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I mean, I'm a little confused by this thread in all honesty. The pro Wiggins crowd is coming across like he's been proving something so far :skip: He didn't prove shyt in college, and he hasn't proved shyt in the NBA, so why the hype? I know obviously it's way too early to say he will never amount to anything the league, but to me he was a bust in college, and because he looks good for the occasional stretch in a NBA game, its the same thing he did college, show glimpses of the what if, than disappear. Every player in the NBA has All star potential, but it's consistency which sets the stars above the rest, and he's yet to do that in college, or the league....

The Kansas freshman racked up all of four points on 1-for-6 shooting Sunday in the No. 2 seed Jayhawks’ 60-57 loss to No. 10 seed Stanford. When the game was on the line, he did not even touch the ball as backup freshman Conner Frankamp fired up frantic three-pointers.

This was the worst game of Wiggins’ career, with four turnovers and relatively minimal defensive impact compounding the shooting woes. But he’s had similar performances in the past, in wins and losses, dropping 14 or fewer points in 11 games this season.

Wiggins’ draft hype was formed before he even signed with the Jayhawks, before he fell into a lull to start the season and well before he posted 71 points and 16 rebounds in consecutive games against West Virginia and Oklahoma State earlier this month. His athleticism and natural instincts, particularly on defense, shine above other prospects.

But then he disappears.

Who gives a shyt what he did in College :dead:

He's had several extremely impressive games in the NBA, but what he did a year ago is relevant?

Lavine is slightly a better passer and that it.

Wiggins is obvious better and has more potential

Yeah..Lavine can dribble better and that's about it. He's definitely shown flashes of talent though.

Naw cause you said all he can do is jump, and if you really watch him you wouldn't say that, because he can do more than just jump,he can actually play,he just need to polish up:stopitslime:

Like I said he hasn't really impressed me that much, he's an amazing athlete and I'll give him credit his scoring ability is better than I thought it would be initially but no way in hell if I'm building a team am I taking LaVine over Wiggins.

Matt Bonner has had some nice games too breh, consistency is the word of the day. CONSISTENCY

Consistency from a rookie, right......

He's averaging 16/5/2/1/1 on 43% in his last 10 games, he's improving but since he had a bad tournament almost 1 year ago, what he does in the NBA is irrelevant.

wow 13 ppg on 40% shooting on the twolves, what dominance...

That's the point that I'm trying to make, just like the other players from the 2014, THEY ARE ALL ROOKIES!!!!

U can talk about his struggles all you want but he is by far rookie of the year.

Stans come out after every blue moon good game this guy got. Hilarious.

Shoot 40% and average 14 points with 2 assists to get anointed as a star while hating on Dion Waiters who averaged the same as a rookie as a 3rd option in less minutes per game brehs
Just let it go bro. Please just let it go. Can you do that? Not for our sake, but for yours.

Obviously no absolutes in this argument at the moment, neither side has more of a leg to stand than the other.. Only time will tell breh, either I'll be upping your quotes or you'll be upping mine :skip:
thats years away though...

No, one side understands the game and can clearly see his potential, his numbers for a rookie are fine and they are improving. Everyone knew coming into the league he was raw offensively, yet here he is, the raw offensive rookie averaging double digits and stringing together some impressive games. His jumpshot is better than expected and he's scoring on his own at a decent rate, which rookies struggle to do to begin with.

This thread gets upped because @Eye Cue 182 has made probably 50 threads hating on Wiggins, and I'm not even exaggerating.

Outside of a few games in college,I really didnt see much,as I have said before as well:

Ben McClemore at Kansas >>>>>>> Wiggins at Kansas
