That's what will start happening. The weather changing is why they're missing them and watch by the end of the season you see more teams going for two more often.
Did that happen last year? The only teams I see that aren't scared to go for it are the Steelers in Patriots cause the coaches don't have fear of any backlash

Teams across the league attempted an average of 56.8 two-point conversions a season (which averaged out to just 3.3 a week) from 2009 to 2014. That increased to 93 (5.5 a week) last year and is on pace to eclipse 100 this season

I fukking hate this rule with a passion. And I hate that announces gas it up like this great improvement.

The whole reason for the XP is a concession to the offense for going for the TD rather than going for just FGs. That's why a TD is equal to 2 FGs + the XP. So, teams that kick just FGs are punished. You make XPs harder to take away the incentive.
