The XP being automatic was stupid anyways. Just added a relatively meaningless play to extend games. I approve of the change. In rugby, you kick the xp anywhere on a straight line from where you scored.

Yep. For me, it was either move the extra point back, or eliminate it all together and make a touchdown worth 7
