If he's not hired at the end of this season after Brandon Staley got a job 4 years after he first got hired in the NFL it's gonna look fukking nuts.

How many coaches have the resume Caldwell has? Tyrod Taylor? Stop. Caldwell has a hell of a resume. You dump a guy like that you better replace him with someone better. You didn't. Now all this talk about "the record was fraudulent". Who gives a shyt? You're judged on wins and losses.

Caldwell deserved to be fired. End of story. The team reached a level of mediocrity that resulted in winning against bad teams while being out classed by decent to good teams...and there was no sign that would change. Yes I thought Caldwell was very important for us in terms of changing the culture. I wanted to bring in a coach to take us to the next level. And the organization got conned by two bums from the Patriots. We fukked up there. But that doesn't change the fact that Caldwell needed to go.yall where complaining about Caldwell and wanted him gone

That being said I think Caldwell would have lasted longer - and might still be the coach - if he hadn't gotten his OC hire wrong. He brought in a bum who couldn't call a play to save his life. Then turned to a better OC who struggled from being predictable. If the Lions had hired a top OC things could have been very different IMO

Is there racism yeah, but a HC gig is not high on the pole for keeping black men out. Ownership...yeah I go with that...but HC, naw. They even gave Singletary a shot.
These white boys get the gigs because they are, or are good at faking to be "football guys". The type who go home and watch football tape for entertainment. How many brehs doing that? Read what it said, he's a salesman, but deeper questions (stuff football guys would know) stump him. And he tries to finesse his way thru.
Maybe he's good at calling plays, giving him the benefit. But HC consists of more than that. nikka what is your knowledge on everything else???
