Yeah, I mean the Spurs do make the playoffs every year. When you've made it 18 years in a row, some first round losses are statistically probable, especially when you factor in injuries to stars, which you call excuses. Only 4 first round exits out of 18 is pretty damn impressive.

Problem for the spurs has been the same for over a decade: One or more of the Big Three might not be fully healthy come playoff time. Despite upgrading with LMA and Kawhi being a beast, the big three is still the engine behind that team.
