Let's say you make 1000 dollars a month. Well, people in other countries could really use half of your hard earned money. Would you be willing to give up what you worked for people you don't know out of force? You're rich to them so I think you should give to them. Now what you may say is, not half but I do donate here and there.ok, but do you not realize how much a lot of these rich people give to charity. Why force them to do already do something a lot of rich people already do. Some don't, and that's fine IMO, but you assume because they're rich they pay the same bills you do. A $3 million dollar cap would be great in a world where we all had the same jobs.

But what if someone down on their luck for years develops an idea, or writes a movie/song, invention etc that becomes HUGE. What if their idea can make hundreds of millions or billions for a corporation, but they themselves have to basically take chump change for their own idea?

It's not right. Yeah $3mil is alot of money, but it's still robbery.

There's enough money int he world where no one needs to be in poverty. The problem is not solved by capping ppl's money, it's solved by ppl caring about their fellow human.

Yea sure numbers games cool. Lets add in some critical thinking though. What makes you think every single person in the whole world wants money, paper, coin or credit? Does this study factor in the people who still live tribal-esque lives, who by their own merit, reject modern culture?

What about the millions who literally live on top of natural resources? Does this study think they too, need physical currency? Perhaps they deserve residence alone from just being exploited for your pleasure and 1000$ cell phones. At best, this article proves that change is needed. At worst, that pocket counting is alive and well.
