Speaking of which, I feel like everyone kind of glossed over Pimp dissing Jeezy on Tell Me How You Feelon the first posthumous album he takes shots
"he say that he a dealer but i don't think he got no bricks, real weight selling nikkas ain't swapping out sheeeiit, I'll catch you on the next one, you can stop bun, tryna get me off yo ass, empty the clips and smash the gas"
then jeezy is on the very next song on the album.![]()
yeah i hate that shyt too, sleepy brown did it too on that album. i like posthumous songs to sound like it's possible they were recorded before they died. that's exactly why i hate when they throw people who came out after the death on shyt. i don't need fukking ty dolla sign and asap rocky, i ain't tryna hear pimp c on wiz khalifa songs. put him on songs with people he actually knew and fukked with.Speaking of which, I feel like everyone kind of glossed over Pimp dissing Jeezy on Tell Me How You Feel
I see the Kingz winnin
Thought it was over, it's the beginnin
Underground we run the South
Diss me I'mma bust your mouth
I don't run I come to your house
You gon' lose, nikka that's no doubt
We can jump or pop it out
I ain't Jeezy don't swap it out
On a side note, I wonder if anyone else feels the same way about this - I don't like when on a posthumous project, a rapper makes explicit reference to the fact to someone else on the song being dead ... like at the end of Steal Your Mind on UGK 4 Life, Snoop Dogg says "Pimp C, rest in peace" or at the end of Slim Thug's verse on Leanin, he says "H Town, I'ma shout that out til I'm up in heaven with Pimp & Pac" ... it kind of feels weird to me![]()
