Majority of them have mostly Spanish genetics, the entire culture is from Spain. Whatever natives are left get treated like shyt by the Mexican government.

Mexico fought wars against their natives for 300 years, we not gonna rewrite history and act like they're the natives.
:yeshrug: still doesn't negate the fact that you plenty still got native ancestry just like in current Mexico

Their morals?!?! What morals?

I love Cali, the weather, the weed, the food, and the women BUT black men from Cali are c00ns for Mexicans. I’m not even trying to be funny but Cali is the ONLY state where you see black men bowing down to Hispanics. I get it, they have the numbers but you can at least be indifferent towards them.

The Truth
Breh you’re all over the place.

They helped shaped the culture, cool. So are you only giving this California culture identity claim to the Mexicans who have specifically been in California since the beginning of Spanish colonization? Because there’s a whole fukking lot of them who just immigrated over from Mexico in the last few couple of generations. Most modern Mexicans there wouldn’t qualify for this claim.

And if you’re still giving it to the recent Mexican immigrants then based on your argument drake is FBA because his direct father played a part in shaping FBA culture.

If drake cant claim to be FBA then mestizo Julio Gomez who’s parents immigrated from Tijuana in 1990 can’t claim to be the original people of California.

this is why I asked if you’re talking about lineage because now you’re talking who had impact on what culture when my initial comment was about who is who ethnically.
Thats why his whole claim about Drake doing anything was stupid as fukk…

But meanwhile, he giving Mexican men a whole lot of passes and now this?

We not saying he’s wrong, we saying he’s a fukking hypocrite… like I been saying since before all this. An actual FBA man (even from Canada) can’t say “nikka” but hispanic men from Cali are cool for it though?

1. Nobody is saying anything about Mexico still owning or “deserving” to have California. We are talking about the history of California and pushing an important point that CA used to be part of Mexico to illustrate the connection culturally

2. CA being part of Mexico means that Mexican culture and the history and current culture of CA are intertwined. You nikkas are crashing out thinking we are saying Mexico should own California or something. lol.

Super weird takes on a simple point

“France had a strong influence on Louisiana culture… Louisiana used to be part of France”

“No, France was just colonizers they weren’t native… is Louisiana being owned by France supposed to mean something?”

:dead:

The American education system y’all

:what:

can u explain to me … how in the world does Mexican culture intertwine with California culture and please don’t use areas names of certain locations because those were named by the Spaniards not the Mexicans

They were spaniards who stole the land from the natives. They have zero claim to land that was won and then lost on white men terms.

Mexicans spend 300 years eradicating the native population with the support of Spain, they dont get to claim that heritage after wiping those people out.

:salute:

yeah, I think that poster and the others who cosigned him are a bit confused

Because Mexicans love to take pride in their Spanish heritage and only use their native lineage when it’s convenient
i’m sorry, but these people can’t pick and choose with narrative they want to spin … that’s like somebody having their cake and eating it too

are you basing your ideas off what you see on social media or do you actually interact with the people you’re talking about in real life?

What cities?

In 2025 we got people asking for proof that Mexicans had an influence on California
