I understand the positive power of social media. But, it troubles me how we think we're savin' the world with hashtags.

I was thinking that instead of religion telling us about the origin of man, science/evolution actually tells us about the origin of religion.

Instead of taking what you're given and progressing up the ladder and out of captivity, you remove your only chance of long term freedom for short term comfort. Think of our military strategy since the Cold War. Think of our global warming initiative. Think of yourself at the individual level spending money on superficial shyt only to need that money in desperate times.

I agree with the poster that said this illustrates minorities killing each other over shoes. But I feel like the artist is going for a more global theme here. So I envision this to be a critique of the World Cup. If you've read up on it, it's been a completely corrupt process. So it could either be soccer kills. Or that the soccer has the world/Brazilian economy at gunpoint.
