I have asked Coach Fisher and Athletics Director Stan Wilcox to develop a plan to help our student-athletes understand the consequences of these kinds of actions. This will include Coach Fisher meeting immediately with his team to reiterate, in no uncertain terms, our expectations of them. I also plan to meet with the team, and we will be asking professionals who deal with these matters, including State Attorney Willie Meggs, to speak with them. -John Thraser

They need to re-think this. There is no way that kids will stop going to bars because there is too much p*ssy there. What is he going to do when the first cell phone video gets out showing a gang of Seminoles at a bar? He will be put in a spot of having to discipline kids who really didn't do anything wrong.

Exactly. You can't run it like a boot camp. Recruits here this shyt, they are going to be ok, fukk FSU. Honestly I can't blame them. Yeah the bars are hella important to young adults. I was there long time ago and you couldn't tell me I couldn't go to no club. All that p*ssy out there and I can't go? Shiiiiiit.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
If there's one thing I hate more than anything about the outright hypocrisy of the NCAA it's the, "They're just normal students tripe." How? I'm a "normal" FSU student. FSU could never enforce a Twitter ban on "normal" FSU students. Let alone a goddamn bar ban. @no1es run this is right. Bowden would've pulled out his dong and shook it at the media over this and the Deandre situation. I fukk with Big dikk Jim (strong pause), but dude be doing the most at times.

Meh. This is going to hurt recruiting. Like I said I hope this is a front. FSU is just a target for some strange reason. Oh my bad they are winning, they hate winning teams in the US.
:dahell:. FSU isn't a target. Their players have been in multiple run ins with the cops. Karlos Williams, Dalvin Cook(twice), Winston(multiple times), Ira Denson( felonies related to attempted murder ), Deandre Johnson, Jesus Wilson (Grand theft), etc. Anytime you have men hitting women the women driven media will be out in full force. FSU made it worse with the Jameis Winston situation and now these idiots are piling on.

Times like this I wish Bowden was still around
Bowden would have been fired on the spot when he wrote that letter for that attempted murderer/rapist if that happened today. Not a chance in hell he would survive this:

The husband of a rape victim said he's outraged that Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden wrote a letter on behalf of the attacker, a former running back who faces resentencing next month.

Michael Gibson was sentenced to life in prison in 1994 for his attack on a woman who was shot, raped, robbed and left for dead in her apartment in December 1993.

Gibson, 30, received six life sentences. Four were for rape, one was for armed burglary and one was for attempted felony murder.

They can solve this shyt by getting security with these dudes. Check this out I am old enough to remember when Brett Farve was at southern Mississippi. The boy was such a drunk that they had people follow him around off campus. Brett would go to bars get drunk and get into fights. The local Hattiesburg police would have to pick him up from a bar and take him back to campus.

But of course Brett was the white beloved QB so no one would tell. But USM had folks follow him to make sure he didn't get into trouble.

At the end of the day this shyt will not go away until the media finds someone else to pick on. FSU has to weather the storm. But also those black parents need to question if they even need to send their kids to FSU. It is not worth the hassle because the media is looking for shyt and Meggs will prosecute anything no matter how simple it is. Not even worth the headache.....meggs might give a dudea year in jail for writing a hot check at this point.

I agree.....but hold on this brings up a bigger issue how fukked up Florida is. This dude got six life sentences in Florida? Yet you got folks in that state shooting and killing kids and getting slaps on the wrist.

I can see the administration getting rid of this policy at the end of next season. They just want 1 year for the heat to go away.
