Last summer we were n Cali and it was hot as hell in LA.

Went to Carlsbad, and the temperature dropped significantly. I check on their weather just now, and apparently, it doesn't really get hot there

A high of 72 degrees today

Average high is some shít like 77 and average low is 62.

It can't JUST be because of the ocean, can it?

Heat waves up here worse. The North East of this continent is humid. Granted Toronto is more South than Minnesota but you'd have to go so far North Chasing relief that you would be facing other problems. The winters are also getting unpredictable. All humanity's can't keep migrating. Long term we have to decrease population of humans and that's not happening. The habitable areas will continue to be in decline

The southwest US is literally running out of water, Lake Mead and the Colorado River are drying up

That's an example of an area where people are gonna have to move or die.

The heat in most of the south getting more extreme will mean more droughts which means there will be impacts to agriculture and growing food. It also strains power grids and infrastructure. People will die of heat related illnesses at an increased rate

Canada's value will only go up in the future
