It's been brutal on the Eastcoast for the last 4 straight days. Yes it's July which is normally the hottest month. This is wild. It's not just the temperature but the Heat Index is way up. They are calling it a "Heat Dome". This has me concerned we could be headed for some serious heat increases as the years go on which will put a lot of pressure on Power Grids for all the AC usage. Sh!t is cookin out here.

Nothing brutal or unusual about 90 degree days in the middle of summer. When it starts getting around 103° with an index of 120° that's when it's brutal.

Sometimes it’s more rainy, we haven’t been getting much rain so I’m guessing that’s gonna be the case very soon. Usually August starts a bit cooler than gets hot again. The Dog Days of Summer which is the warmest of the summer pretty much ends the first week of August

Heat feels like normal in the South...but I think it's warmer up North than it used to be.

Barely had any 100 degree days in Dallas. Test is how long it lasts. Some years we still swamp azz hot by Texas vs OU weekend in October but sometimes we rocking hoodies.

I think it's the humidity but yes some of the temps seem like a normal hot summer in July. We could be living through a warmer/hotter cycle now especially with the humidity. They've said overall temps have increased over the years with many Heat records broken in places. But August is normally still hot so we'll see what happens next month. I had a lot to do today but I was burning up out there.
