This narrative about Giannis not guarding KD so he don't deserve defensive player is dumb. I guess the like of Mutombo or Ben Wallace didn't deserve it either. Those types of guys weren't out on perimeter guarding point guards or 2 guards. Giannis is a PF/C type player. KD is essentially a 2 guard in a 7 footer body. Giannis is a positional player that isn't meant to match up with a wing player. He's a paint disrupter true to what his position suppose to be.
