So basically almost any group of people is more likely to be hurt/killed by members of their ethnic group who live in close vicinity to them than by members of other ethnic groups, but black men should be specifically demonized for it.

They're being "demonized" by Black women who are more likely to be killed by them, are you suggesting these women be more general and direct their concerns to ALL men instead of specifically addressing the men who are more likely to kill them?
Should we also say "all lives matter" considering the fact that Black people aren't the only people being killed by cops?

About as much responsibility as the murdered cops in Dallas had for the deaths of Black men in states they didn't police.

You know, since we don't live in a utopian society where everyone commits crimes against each other at equal rates based on sex and ethnicity.

This thread turned into exactly what I knew it would. Black men holding black women responsible for their own abuse while absolving black men from ALL responsibility. The generalizations that erase the unique issues that black women face at the hands of black men. And of course the usual deflections to white people. This thread only reaffirms how important womanism is. When we talk about sexism white women are the focus, and black women are ignored. When we talk about race black men are the focus, and black women are ignored. All they want is for their voices to be heard. But look at the hate, negativity and vitriol that they face for that one small desire. Pathetic!
