Why are people clowning Google Play as if it's not just another streaming service?

I had a free 3 month subscription and was happy to check out genres/artists that I wouldn't have paid attention to if it weren't for the convenience of a streaming service.

And if you don't pay for the subscription they still allow you to upload 50,000 of your own songs and play them anywhere you can get a connection, seems like a good enough service to me.

If you own a business and somebody offering the same thing for free down the street,you don't think its fair to try to negotiate?or ask for a discount?

I mean the other possibility is saying fukk your business all together and going to get the free shyt,some people would consider the people asking for better prices,very diplomatic and humble

And I'll still buy a cd,that feels like I'm supporting the artist directly which is great,and what fans should do.....Streaming is the equivelant to donating to charity,Im fine with charity,but I like to know where my money is going to....I want it going directly to young hungry Africans trying to make it(Migos),not Adele,Garth Brooks,Taylor Swift,Wiz Khalifa.

Exactly. I was an OG Napster dude I was all about stealing music. But the streaming game just makes it too convenient and easy. 10 dollars a month is nothing. Even if I was broke it would be worth it..

I mean seriously? And you can't even find ALL artists on a single platform. The single thing that I use apple for now is beats1 radio...and i WOULD pay for them but they don't even have all the artists I want.
