it seems like the media is trying to take his quote and twist it. He said she consented both verbally and physically. The judge asks what did she say or do. Winston says she moaned, etc. to reflect what he means by physical consent. Then he adds that she verbally consented as well. Meaning she also said yes to the sexual encounter.
