Clearly they knew the chick was lying but they were looking for a huge pay day. David said multiple times that he felt bad fer her. Them coming up with some 7 million dollars to make everything go away is what they were after. The had people that had invested into ericas potential huge pay day.

It's their job, that story gets more clicks which gets more revenue which means more money. They always take the "victims" side. They will never mention EK name ever. She could come out today and say she lied. ESPN will never report it. It would never see the front page nor will it ever be shown on sport center.
