That pick 6 play was crazy. The players and the crowd weren't ready. There was a flyover above us and everyone was looking up at the blue angels. We need an offensive coordinator with some balls especially when the defense steps up for the first time like it did this year.

This season Pro Football Focus has had a lot of good things to say about the Raiders' offensive line. While the run blocking hasn't been consistently great, the pass blocking has been among the best in the league. In fact, PFF rates them the very best in the NFL.

They listed the top five offensive lines by percentage of pressured dropbacks and the Raiders were right at the top

1. Raiders (17%)

2. Cowboys (18%)
3. Falcons (18%)
4. Saints (20%)
5. Browns (21%)

This is even considering the Derek Carr was pressured on 43 of 127 dropbacks (33%) and sacked four times on Sunday. Which I guess says more about how well they were protecting Carr over the first four weeks.

Here are some other notable grades and stats from Sunday's game:

OFFENSE
Rodney Hudson earned his first significant positive overall game grade as a Raider (+1.9), largely built on his run blocking (+1.6).
Derek Carr completed just five of 13 attempts outside the numbers and beyond the line of scrimmage while going 12-of-14 to the middle of the field.
Amari Cooper's limited involvement consisted of targets on two screens, a slant and a short whip route (outside of the deep shot that drew the flag to set up the late FG). On the year 26 of his 41 targets have come within 6 yards of the line of scrimmage.
Oakland fielded six offensive linemen on 16 plays (Khalif Barnes added), after doing so only once in the previous four weeks.
DEFENSE
Charles Woodson had two interceptions Sunday. His +2.1 coverage grade this week has pushed him into the top five in that department among the league's safeties (+4.4 coverage on the season).

Khalil Mack's four run stops this week was second among all edge defenders (43 DEs and 34 OLBs) and his nine on the season is tied for fourth.

Oakland has generated pressure on 29 of 72 pass plays when sending at least five rushers (40.3%); 34 of 128 (26.6%) when sending four.
Against passes aimed over the middle and less than 20 yards downfield, the defense has allowed: 56-of-72 (78%) to be completed for 637 yards, 5 TDs and 1 INT.
SPECIAL TEAMS
Neiron Ball's four special teams tackles on the year have him tied for 11th in the league and only four players have more ST tackles without a miss.

QB Index: Andy Dalton rises as young trio emerges - NFL.com
:leon: Already got media pundits proclaiming Carr to be a top 10 QB already. :francis: Musgrave already lost us 3 games with his conservativeness, especially trying to force the run game and not using the tight ends more in the offense, along with Reece, Helu, & Taiwan who are mismatches in space will help out Coop & Crabtree, teams are just going to key on Coop & Crabtree and blitz Carr is looking to be the opposing defensives gameplan. Norton actually had a aight gameplan against Denver. Good adjustment by JDR tossing Lofton to the bushes on passing plays for Neiron Ball. Tuck is done for the season, but Mario Edwards was looking nice though, he really needed PT and Benson should be playing more too now. If they can't beat the Chargers, who the Raiders on paper is probably have more talent than them should be a win, especially off the bye week.
