Sample clearances killed it for the real geniuses. It just got too expensive to Sample several Songs for one beat. And if you don't clear the samples you risk getting sued and having to pay even more.

That was my point. Once they started lifting songs wholesale instead of actually sampling, the cost of clearance skyrocketed, ruining it for the geniuses like rza.

there are so many songs by rza that i wish people would find or he just exposes it one day
songs like Can it be all so simple remix, swordsman, rainy dayz .... i wanna know what the fukk he sampled for this shyt ... mindblowing when you think of it really
infact i copped the chessbox edition of liquid swords vinyl when it came out ... the only song not included in the intrusmental vinyl is swordsman
theres something about that beat that makes me think that rza knew it was too deep to put out on wax as an instrumental .... the day i find out what he sampeld for that shyt ill die happy

Because these aint the normal sounds and instruments that people sample, its unique. Most people sample soul songs or movie soundtracks and it wont be long before u find out. I make beats and sample too so i understand the difficulty it would take to produce songs like these ... so naturally I would love to know the process behind making the song ... stuff like this blows my mind nh
