Why not be original and make your own beats :ld:
This is what makes producers like DJ Quik up there with the elite, its a very rare quality and ill rate producers like him just as high as i rate RZA, its just a different style of producing

the same way RZA could never producer original like Quik is the same way Quik could never sample like RZA

Raekwon's Knowledge God - Discover the Sample Source

3:47 :ohhh::blessed:

everyone made a big deal when mobb samples got found out but the samples RZA digged out for the first set of solo albums are still largely unfound, incredible production

crazy thing is no one has even found the guitar licks or piano loops for it yet. sampling from mad different tracks and making the track sound cohesive is an underated skill

Many highlight Dilla for that... as they should (arguably he did it the best), but other producers have been clever with their digging and cut and paste styles and flipping whom deserve kudos. RZA is one of them... although that bullshyt he pulled with that million dollar album will forever get him the :dry: look

2 Decades later, and The RZA:boss: production's:mj: still ahead of time:lawd::wow:

he said they wouldn't get it until a decade later

Dillas late era style where he did that is obviously influenced by the rzas early work imo, hence β€œone for ghost” and the cuban 2 beats. All sound like that old rza style noone can do but him and dilla/madlib later on.

The fact that it took 25-30 years to find BITS of this and unexplained and the glaciers sample is insane.
