I long for da day when folks get enough balls to take action here.
The people who have the power to do that unimpeded are not who you want doing this in America
Their shyt was all misguided too lol. Like imagine if they said this was over the economy.. but nah it was because they thought Donald Trump was cheated out of the election![]()
Eh. What about the People Power revolution in Philippines? Got a dictator out the paint and established a democracy. (Don't talk to me about them electing the dictator's son this year thanks to Facebook fake news manipulation though.)
You make it sound like the people rising up is almost always a negative or net-zero thing
This.it usually is negative tho….
I always thought it was an act to put the fear of god into leaders. Like a “ get yo shyt together or the whole country pulling up”it usually is negative tho….
What's a better alternativeBut none of this does anything about their problems tho. It's a tantrum, not a strategy.
It's like the Arab spring all over again or the Sudanese one a few years ago. They gonna regret it in a few years. Storming the capital is not a tactic to fix structural debt or any other societal issue. They just setting up the field for the next set of opportunistic "leaders" to screw them over.
A dude above me mentioned the guilotinnes as an allusion to the French revolution, which once again did not solve the structural problems of French society, but only set the stage for Napoleon to start his own opportunistic monarchy which did the same sht Louis did.
@CopiousX you think Napoleon was a bad leader/ruler for France? But none of this does anything about their problems tho. It's a tantrum, not a strategy.
