So Hawks couldn't offer a better package to get Cousins? :dwillhuh:
:francis: wouldn't be surprised to find out they didn't even try to come up with something. NO basically gave up minor pieces for an All Star caliber big man.

Kings probably would've wanted Milsap since his contract expires this summer, but the Hawks already took him off the trade block.

The Hawks said they were buyers for this trade deadline, but they didn't even put their name in the Boogie sweepstakes. I have a strong feeling the Hawks are gonna walk away with some no-name 3 point shooting Euro bench player come deadline time :mjlol:

Meh....I'd rather have a good wing than Boogie. Him and Dwight would be beefing by the third week. :pachaha:

Word is, Atlanta is working on a deal with Indiana for Paul George. It will be a hell of a package deal too.
:mjlol:

That'll be the day...we'd hafta give up most of the team, I would think. Then, what would've been the point? I don't doubt you, but that's pretty crazy to really think it has a legit chance of happening, like on some incredulous, "it's too good to be true" type of deal....especially if Sap is somehow not part of the trade.

Where'd you hear that, BTW?

HOWEVER....Bud could redeem himself righteously of the Bazemore trade if he somehow gets a steal before the deadline, PG or not. :jbhmm:

It's not so much for players other than Tim Hardaway Jr as much as its for picks.

Atlanta had a tank of picks. Brooklyn 2nd. A 1st in a deep draft. We got Minny 1st if they make the playoffs and we got picks in the upcoming drafts.

Where did you hear that? I haven't heard or seen the Hawks trading for anyone recently, let alone PG
Just Paul George. I actually started hearing this on Wednesday. But I didn't believe it. But the all star game and seeing how Grant and Paul was, it's clear, they are working on it.

Tim Hardaway Jr improvement might be a massive asset.

:lupe: don't play with my emotions breh. There's nothing I'd want more for this team than a 26 year old elite scoring forward. I'd easily give up THJ and even Trilsap for that. George alongside Dwight and Dennis might be something that could actually make some noise in the East.
