There were a lot of athletes getting in trouble in the 90s and early 2000s. Outside of the early Melo, Lebron and his era came in and were pretty clean cut. No major outside trouble. Everyone had good wholesome family images that they presented. That looks like it’s starting to dissipate with this generation coming up now. (Ja, Emoni, Brandon Miller and now Mikey)

It's largely due to "da culture". What's glamorized and put on a pedestal in "da culture ".

A few hours ago extremely popular rappers Ice Spice & Nicki Minaj dropped a colab where they repeated proudly "I fell in love with a gangsta":

That's all these kids hear these days.

That's who the kids worship these days.....the gangbangers, drugdealers, street dudes etc.

"Da culture" has been manipulated to influence as many young black males as possible to think being a gangsta is "cool".

The prison industrial complex depends on this.

Damn, that's the best Ice Spice song I've heard:mjlol:.

I'll give it a 7.

Yep. Lotta spots like Encanto and Skyline sprinkled around.

Cats act like San Diego is lollipop land. It's not turned up like other cities but it's got a lot of roughness. Alot of activity is stunted by the fact that this is indictment city. Most active wit it n!gga$ is locked up right now. San Diego has one of the most, if not THE most, active federal courthouses in the country. Also, cats can get active in TJ too, which obviously doesn't get counted.

I’m saying…OJ’s plight was that everyone thought he was supposed to be the next Kobe. He wasn’t that…but he was plenty talented. Averaged 18 a game as a Rook. This lil nikka Mikey been in high school for 6 years and still shows not an ounce of NBA talent.

I’ll never understand why this kid was so hyped in the first place

Im saying. Im like hold on, Bronny is about to graduate and this kid is older than him :dahell: it felt like he was only a year or two behind zion.

Mikey been acting a fool ever since he secured the bag so quickly at a young age. Dude started looking like JR Smith by the time he was 16, with the approval of both of his parents. Wild thing.

The thing is that we don't even know how good of a player he is. People think he's Spida, but we don't know that.

Yet because of all this clout, dude started acting a fool..... guess he'll have a hard time applying for local jobs with all the tats now LMFAOOOOOO
