shyt gotta be done on purpose at this point...to name the most crime ridden and low income areas in every major city after MLK
They were usually named that before the crack era. There was a multitude of issue that went neglected going into the late 70’s and into the 90’s that wrecked a lot of black neighborhoods that were centered around MLK.
It’s not the worst neighborhood in Atlanta. But the westside and Southwest between Northside Drive/Fulton st. to 285 Has been the most dangerous. I know the eastside (both Eastern Atlanta including east Atlanta, and southern Dekalb) is shouted out a lot, but you can’t get caught up in the same bullshyt in the west, the way you can the east or south sides and it not turn into a shooting.
