That’s cool and all, but the Wilpons won’t spend like a big market team, so that caps us out as waiting for the perfect storm(like in ‘15 with that dominant pitching).

We all know we’re two bats and a pitcher away, but such players cost money, not too mention guys like Cabrera and Cespedes will likely be worse next year. Trade all the vets, gear up for a run 2-3 years from now, hopefully by 2020 or 2021 Rosario and Guillermono will be much improved and our top prospects will be up contributing.

Yea the rest of that thread was basically saying we should be spending but yea I just don't see it happening. I would really love it if this year was just full of fukkery where the finances get revealed some more and the Commish forces the Wilpons to sell.

I almost feel like the country would have to have some economic crisis to rattle things enough for those events to happen tbh
