Problem with Matz is fairly simple - he has an inconsistent delivery and doesn't trust his arm after his multiple injuries/issues.

He has options left so I'd give him like 5 more starts and if not doing well AND Wheeler is doing better, send him down.

I kind of feel like Matz sees Thor hitting 100, and deGOAT hitting upper 90’s, and he wants to be that type of pitcher. Problem is, he can hit 95-96, but he just can’t consistently throw it that hard for strikes. Then he gets behind in the count a whole lot, and his secondary pitches are just average.
