That’s why I wish snitch Paul was moving in silence... Telegraph your moves to these cacs and they come up with shyt like this so that you don’t inspire the next wave of black agents...

Also this is more proof kids who got the talent and ready to go pro just go, even if they aren’t drafted they can go play in Europe or the G league..

With social media these kids don’t need the ncaa at all.. When Lamelo gets drafted that will be the blue print

Couldn’t you just hire a dummy agent then drop him when you know for sure your going pro?
That agent is going to want a piece of that rookie deal so it'll be contingent upon the player going pro and if he does he gon have to break bread. Plus there's other stipulations besides the bachelor degree.

Why would you need a bachelor's degree to be a sports agent? Ridic
Most sports agents or agents these days are attorneys. Traditional education isn’t everything, but I’d want someone who is well-educated (and connected, which is a major part of college) representing my interests.

This is stop people (predators, really) from taking advantage of athletes who don’t know any better. There’s a lot of people who call themselves agents who know nothing about the business and are looking to fill their own pockets.

Rich Paul himself does none of the actual contractual or legal work.

This won’t have any effect at all. There’s nothing wrong with this.
These dudes clearly aren’t close to college/pro sports because they’re looking at this as a negative. For every Rich Paul, there are 25 runners, clowns, and dudes looking for a come up calling themselves agents. Oversight is necessary.

Gotcha. Still think somebody somebody like clutch could hire a low level guy who narrowly fits the criteria to do nothing but take a sum of money. I mean it doesn’t make much sense not that I think about it especially considering Paul isn’t going to after many guys who are thinking of coming back, and I don’t think you’d take the subterfuge for a borderline 1st guy.

shytty and unnecessary, however you think of Paul.

Yea, he needs to take a page from the school of Al Haymon.

Like Al Pacino said in Devil's Advocate when criticizing Keanu Reeves for being too obvious

"Don't get too cocky my boy. No matter how good you are don't ever let them see you coming. That's the gaffe my friend. You gotta keep yourself small. Innocuous. Be the little guy. You know, the nerd... the leper... shyt-kickin' surfer. Look at me!"

"I'm the hand up Mona Lisa's skirt. I'm a surprise, Kevin. They don't see me coming: that's what you're missing."
