Gotta build our own media so we can go to war with this bullshyt.

Pras had $2 million for a commercial but not a finished product in Blacture.com. Oprah's new movie is about a biracial looking for white Daddy.

And we had our own media, but it didn't pull in money or viewership like ass shaking videos. So the media portion was shortened in segments until nothing remained. And then BET was sold.

The MLK estate has owned the rights to his speeches since 1963

Spielberg owns the biopic rights from the era with those speeches

Keep in mind there is a reason why Coretta Scott King or any of her 4 kids ever had to have a full time gig.

But the commercial was disgusting. MLK didn't put his life in danger to sell Ram trucks
So Steven Spielberg's lawyers pulled a 'put it in the vault to prevent access' on King's speech. And the King family lawyers signed off on it.

He did what now? :what:
BET sold out before it was sold. Or maybe not, but they got rid of 106 and that was it. Damn we used to watch and love that
