If he lost the locker room like it sounds like,

I agree with your one point about them not having any offense. Another thing that bothered me about Thibs is he's known for getting the most out of players. If that's the case, he should have trotted Snell, Mirotic, and Doug out there a little more.

But to what I quoted...

I really want to see these players who didn't endorse Thibs.

Good luck to Thibs :manny:

I'm happy for the success he brought the Bulls, but he pretty much lost me this year, especially in the playoffs. With that plus most likely losing the players support, the Bulls have gone as far as they can go with Thibs.

Hope Hoiberg can be solid, cuz if not then GarPax gotta get the fukk out soon. :francis:

I'm one that believes those exit interviews probably sealed it. If jimmy rose pau noah would have been adamant on keeping thibs I think he remains. Just like golden state if steph klay etc were adamant on keeping jackson, he stays. I'm sure they respect him but they wanted a new voice. No way a front office makes a move like this and create a divide with they star players like that.

It's clear now the bulls quit in game 6 and they wanted thibs out.

How does that negate my point about the minutes restrictions if all but one player was under the restrictions?

To your original point, that caller was on the right path, but his premise was wrong. You can look at Thibs and how he played Noah for example. He took years off of Jo's career with him leaving him on the floor in garbage minutes. Deng lead the league two years in a row in minutes. Pau had his highest minute total in the last three years.

One could say that there is an echo chamber when you see headlines like this

However, it's not a fallacy when you are seeing all of this with your own eyes.

April 16, 2014 -- Gar loses patience
It's the last game of the regular season, and the Chicago Bulls are in Charlotte, North Carolina. Injured, Derrick Rose watches from the bench in a sharp gray suit. But the remaining Bulls turn in a gritty effort, typical of the Thibodeau era, building a 10-point second-quarter lead over the team then still known as the Bobcats.

As the home team rallies, and the lead changes hands -- seven times before the final buzzer -- Thibodeau rides his best players for long minutes, and it almost pays off. Taj Gibson misses a shot in the closing seconds that might have won it.

Instead, the game goes to overtime and the Bobcats race away with it, creating a lasting memory for the home fans assembled in Time Warner Cable Arena.

In a premium seat in the arena's lower level, Gar Forman had steam coming out of his ears.

This, of all games, most perfectly demonstrates what it is that Thibodeau doesn't believe in.

That is the essence of the issues with minutes and Thibs
