And you back Thibs why?

I don't back Thibs so much as I hate entitlement.

I was listening to Brian Geltzieler after they got eliminated and a guy called in from Chicago bytchin about Thibs running the players into the ground, so Geltz looked it up and come to find out Thibs followed the FO minutes restrictions damn near to the fullest. Only person that went over they're estimated minutes was Noah and that was by 1 damn minute.

And I think this has become a bit of a pattern with the FO. I'm not saying the Del Negro was a good coach buy when he wanted to do things his way, there was conflict with the FO.

And lastly, if you want him gone, cool. If you don't want to pay him to leave, cool. But this has become character assassination on behalf of Gar Foreman and John Paxson.

Say what you want about him but I'll be damn if he isn't a good coach.

thats how it always goes, I dont know why its making you feel a certain way now

players didnt want him, management didnt want him ... we all know hes a good coach, but it just didnt work out here

:manny:

Thats the thing though, i think more often then not its the suits that dont want them, then leak bullshyt stories like that new one saying the lockerroom wasnt on his side, yet no one has said shyt all year. It's easy for the suits to come up with a plan, and make it seem like players are leaking shyt to them, because not even the players will know whats up, let alone the fans. Lets say Rose is fine, but hears "players in the lockerroom didnt like him" Now rose aint going to ask Pau, Butler, Noah if they been talkin shyt. Now Noah same thing, lets say hes fine with Tibs, hes not about to go ask Rose if he was ok with Tibs. It's just a bullshyt way of working and annoying. I am the dude still today saying GSW did Mark Jackson dirty as fukk, thats his team in the finals not Kerr's I am not taking shyt away from Kerr at all, but typically when you work somewhere if you do VERY good, you are rewarded not thrown in the bushes, thats different when it comes to coaches in sports and these dudes put in WAY more time then any of the players or suits, half of them have half assed families cause they just live in that office.

I hope for Thibs he can change his ways a bit and grow from this

I dont want fukkboys coming to shyt on the Bulls if he succeeds someplace else, he was too stubborn here and never relented.

Just because he does that someplace else doesnt mean he made it a workable situation here.

Hes a good coach, but he needs to change his ways to be successful, period.
I'd have no problem with him if he knew how to not run his players into the ground. He also needs to bring in an offensive coordinator of sorts too.

It's not just about the minutes, it's the context. You do not need your starters out there playing, up 18 against the Sixers at home with 3 minutes left to play. That is the shyt he did repeatedly, among other things.

I think it goes both ways though. Thibs had his mouthpieces take shots at the front office too.

I think everyone knows he's a good coach, he's just very stubborn and difficult to work with.

If it was up to me, I'd clean house and fire management too, they both should take equal fault with Thibs here for making this a toxic situation.

If he lost the locker room like it sounds like, then it doesn't bother me as much to be honest

Stop acting like a bytch to start an argument and read what i said.. here I will break it down

I hate my boss,,,, hate him hes a piece of shyt.
I know I cant sit there and tell him or another manager that he should go
BUT... i am not going to sit here and speak to people on how awesome he is, I will 1) ignore it 2) move on.
You dont have to endorse anyone and that was my point.

If you hate him, when asked the question just move on it is what it is, dont sit there and say hes an amazing coach and we all want him back here next year, then go run to Paxon crying like a bytch.

Yeah but people aren't dumb. People take a non-endorsment as a negative endorsment. Look at what happened with Lebron when he said Blatt was doing his job. All reports were about how Lebron wants him gone due to him not singing Blatt's praises. Plus for the average player the last thing they want to do is risk pissing off the coach and then having to put up with them for another year if the team keeps em.

What a stupid decision, the Bulls will regret that one. If I was Butler I would leave just based on that shady ass move

Side note... Knicks should pick up Tibs and move Fisher to PG :sas2:

Butler probably payed his tithes this month, thanking jesus he doest play 45 minutes a game no mo.

Oh you got injuries? i wonder why? :francis:

How does that negate my point about the minutes restrictions if all but one player was under the restrictions?

This was the first season he ever did restrictions, and they were mandated by the training staff

He trolled it sometimes by burning out Rose/Noah too early in the game, so they couldn't close in the 4th

Its a bad look for a coach if you need the damn training staff intervening and having to set restrictions to save him for over playing guys
