this goes beyond just the front office not liking him (and who's to say they didnt have good reason?)

Thibs lost the locker room straight up, you cant come back from that

Wow the Bulls WENT IN on that press release :merchant:

Again, Ill say this to all the sheep in here so quick to shyt on our front office

How the hell do you know what Thibs is like behind the scenes, or if the players still wanted him?
I'm one that believes those exit interviews probably sealed it. If jimmy rose pau noah would have been adamant on keeping thibs I think he remains. Just like golden state if steph klay etc were adamant on keeping jackson, he stays. I'm sure they respect him but they wanted a new voice. No way a front office makes a move like this and create a divide with they star players like that.

It's clear now the bulls quit in game 6 and they wanted thibs out.

Just a Kid From Chicago
An excerpt that sums up what Thibs is about

Thibodeau has famously been married to his job for most of his 57 years. His former athletic director at Salem State, John Galaris, told The New York Times that Thibodeau told him he broke off an engagement because, “There’s no room in my life for a woman if I’m going to be a basketball coach.”

Thibs was and is really with the shyts....

Wherever he lands, that team will be a better one instantly for having him. I wanted it to work with him coaching the Bulls, but as this season went on, especially in the playoffs, it was obvious that it was time for a change...

Thibs a great coach, I don't think this will be like the Warriors scenario but I'd be interested to see how Hoiberg does it :yeshrug:

:ufdup::whoa: Jerry Krause

Now lets just pretend you got some inside scoop and its them being tired of him
Fact is who gives a fukk if there was an issue with him, he got them to play good defense and win games. Switching a coach to make a superstar happy really pans out well..... Thats why my lakers have had like a half dozen in the last 5 years, that worked out awesome

Now based on what the players were saying they wanted him there, now again if they are lying, then shut the fukk up and dont stand up for him in interviews, dont sit there and throw him in the bushes BUT also dont be in there saying he needs to stay, then going behind the back stabbing him. Because now if that was the case, karma will be back around and they will be fighting for that 7-8 seed if they are lucky, but thankfully, they will be losing with a happier lockerrom.

It's about winning and hes has had some shytty players play VERY well and bank off of his system and winning.

I am hoping the Pelicans scoop him up because hes a top 5 coach, one that should be rewarded after his seasons he has had, not thrown in the bushes.

I hope for Thibs he can change his ways a bit and grow from this

I dont want fukkboys coming to shyt on the Bulls if he succeeds someplace else, he was too stubborn here and never relented.

Just because he does that someplace else doesnt mean he made it a workable situation here.

Hes a good coach, but he needs to change his ways to be successful, period.
