Lol this is nothing in parts of africa nigeria and other countries jungle justice is the norm there, several incidence of people getting burnt or set ablaze or exjudicial killings, for all the faults of the U.S.A and other western nations atleast nonsense like this wont just happen, there is a rule of law and way things works. I am not in favour of this type of retaliation over a phone.

It's a slippery slope, breh. Some places will cut off the hand of a thief and exact other punishments that seem wild to the west but those places also have very low crime rates. So one could argue that their society as a whole is safer and therefore more civil overall than America where mass shootings, gangs, bank robberies, etc are common.

Yep

STEALING IS WRONG.

but what kinda banana republic is this that stealing a phone justifies getting ran over then beat on by a mob? disgusting animals:scust:

try that shyt hear and dude would be walking away with a huge settlement
It’s a phone today and something bigger tomorrow. Thieves really get no sympathy, as they shouldn’t.

Definitely gotta be Latin America. Latino men are the biggest simps in the entire world. They're willing to kill or die for a woman they don't even know
Africa, middle East. Asia Not for a woman.... People hate thieves

Don't be a robber or thief in a lot of places round the world it's a free license to die on the streets no fukks given.

Everyone and their mother will jump your given the opportunity.
Uncivilized. I could care less what slippery slope they have to live by or what kind of crime pressure thy have.

For all we know it could have been a friend he knows, he pulled a prank while riding by and before he knows it some guy is tying to run him over, then a mob is attaching him. The whole situation screams people who cant control their emotions.

And then for all we know he could have been stealing his phone back, I'm mean who knows?

From what i see a guy steals a phone and a bunch of of emotional dudes run in to "save the day", without even realized whats really going on. Just not a place I would want to live.

Like I said in a civilized country he could sue anyone who touched him and the guy who tried to run him over would be charged with attempted murder.

Imagine next time you walking and you find some money on the ground, you pick it up and all of a sudden a bunch of dudes are hell bent on mobbing you, becuse it looks like your tying to steal.
Not enough resources + corrupt leadership = people in a lot of counties handle the streets themselves as a community. People living like that don't think it's civilized to keep thieves alive. It is what it is. There's no warnings and no advocacy for your justice. Don't try shyt in public. Anyone traveling to a developed country in general should never act out in public. Getting mobbed takes little time. From the cacs climbing monuments in South America or people who hit locals

 if police come it will be to save you. Don't fukk around to find out.

why probley beacuse of the drug trade. Drugs bring in the most money.
Close to 25 percent of people in Brazil live in extreme poverty. Meaning tin shacks and homes made of cinder blocks.

The leading factors are wealth in the hands of the few who enact policies to benefit the wealthy combined with a lack of national education, resources and economic initiatives aimed at helping people in poverty.

So basically if you're born poor you will probably die poor in Brazil and poor people do poor things in order to stay breathing like theft/drug trade which is also controlled by the wealthy.

Drugs are only part of the issue but Brazil is definitely a hub for the global drug trade and sadly poor citizens caught in the middle have to deal with a variety of demonic characters as a part of every day life.
