Road Construction going on all over the place no matter what.

Potholes

Peddlers. It seems like it's at an all time high. It's impossible to go thru a day without coming across at least 3 people begging. In line at Wendy's the other day. Some spotty Hispanic broad comes in asking for money for a burger. I told her "What do you want? I'll order and buy it for you." She turns around and walks out. lol

I'm in NC at the moment, one thing I don't like about it is everything closes at 9pm on the weekdays.

on Sundays most stores close at 6pm

You can't even get a piece of pizza at 3 in the morning.

I don’t think most “old” cities have insane amounts of apartments with central air unless they are new. The cost of remodeling a building to add central air is expensive and you would most likely be paying for it.

My homegirl is a new transplant for DC and her building has central air.

Also from the old days houses were built smaller than today. When you go to Europe most homes are small also.

I don’t think old cities were built poorly they were just modeled for their time.
