Most people don't get results because of inconsistency, terrible diet, and just not showin up enough

Most trainers don't really know much of shyt, a lot don't even work out. People forget that it is just a job. If you into it and want to make some money doin it then just do AFAA when it comes to your area and get personal training / group ex certified. One of the worst mistakes I made was goin through the effort to get certified through ACSM because even tho it made me hella knowlegeable, it's overkill for what I was trying to do but I didn't know at the time. It's mostly a sales position

99% of lifters and people in general form is terrible on most exercises and most people's workouts suck. Even tho what I just said about trainers not knowing shyt does apply to most situations, there are some out there that are and its up to the individual to do their research or you could just go on YouTube

Yes a trainer will fukk your wife if you aren't doin your job at the crib or she just a thot. Usually it's the former tho because the husband stopped showing her attention and affection or maybe just work too much and ain't never there while that nikka at the gym givin her all types of positive reinforcement. If it ain't the trainer it's another nikka at the gym.

Don't be that person that just lets your spouse workout at the gym all the time without you. For the above reason and nikkas will use the gym as an excuse to get out the house all the time and just park their car and sign in then walk right back out to dip. Can't tell you how many times cats wives have been at a gym I was at asking where their husbands were. Not only that but if your spouse is working out / in shape then you probably need to be tryin to do the same for obvious reasons

It's a gamble fukkin with clients on some sexual shyt because 9/10 you'll lose that client right after or they'll expect free training since they gave it up and you'll only hurt your own pockets

There's a lot of bad broads at your local cheap box gym. Especially in the classes, a lot don't even go to the gym to use the equipment.

A lot of women will be dedicated and hit it hard at the gym until they get married or cuffed by somebody then you won't see em here again until a year(s) later after they gained +40 pounds

Gyms make money off of the people that don't show up and a large percentage of members will pay dues monthly and never show up. I was at a gym where people was payin $80 a month for years without ever coming. I guess it's to have it just in case, I don't know it ain't my money

Older people or people with conditions have died in the gym. You got a heart condition or some shyt you need to stay on top of it, all we can do is pull out the defibrillator and chest compressions. Nobody's doin mouth to mouth or none of that shyt

Either way I'm bored so anything else y'all are curious about just ask... I don't check notifications so I'll respond to what I see when I see it.

:francis:Man, so right about the personal trainers. Too many of them dudes were in there selling shaker cups and powders and they didn't understand even the most basic
of "programming" for clients. To be fair, most of the clients weren't about that life so they were typically life-long yo-yo dieters, but these dudes were getting away with
murder. Got chicks in here doing 8-10 reps with 5lb weights:rocky:

And yes, it was some BAD broads at the local chain gym. Sure they were outnumbered by the less than savory ones, but the Zuumba classes, yoga workshops in the evening, and the off-hours where
the gym was mostly empty would have some real sick chicks in there with excellent bodies. Can't wait to go back:banderas:

I'm your first point. Inconsistency combined with horrible work/life balance.

That's most people, you want motivation? Look at that middle age relative or coworker that's hella out of shape with high blood pressure diabetes and shyt :francis: they were in y'all position at some point in time

It's a sales job and like most sales jobs they have quotas they have to meet. It's about making money, most salesman are notorious liars and will say anything to get you to buy

I used to make a point to work out over the 10AM hour whenever I could work it in my schedule because of the kind women that were there around that time.

It was a feast.

You ain't lied yet breh.

Do you do any HIIT or recommend it as part of a lifting routine? I researched it. It's basically high school track practice, but I did track in HS and my body and stamina was :ohlawd:

That shyt was brutal tho

Speaking of middle age out of shape relatives with high blood pressure and diabetes......

I have family dealing with those problems. They at least have some motivation to shed a few pounds and they always come to me asking for help but like you said in OP, people have died in the gym.
:francis:

I'm not a doctor, nutritionist, or fitness instructor.

The most I can tell them is to just start walking in the park or something but you can only do that for so long...

What is your approach in this situation?

Brain aneurysm . He was in great shape (Corrections Officer w/o 5X ) a week but he had bad eating habits that were hard to kick , even after open heart surgery three years prior.

My diet was always much better but I still changed a lot of my eating habits after he passed.

I'm not perfect but I feel healthy inside and out.

Yea sometimes I do but I mostly do liss cardio but I always recommend people do what they know they can stick with when it comes to diet and exercise

These stupid ass fad diets and workouts people do for a little while then quit because it wasn't anything they could maintain. Find a routine that works for you that you know you can stick with and do it

So is your form shytty op? :sas1:

Nah lame Ima gym gawd :jawalrus:

You're right about people that die while working out :snoop:

:rip: to my pops . That's how he went out.

thats fukked up but it happens semi regularly

The gym isn't the reason they died breh, it was some underlying condition that would've killed them anyway sooner or later

For your people just tell them to pace themselves and stay on top of that diet. Gettin healthy isn't something that happens over night. I always tell folks, it took you years to get to where you are now as far as unhealthy living so it's gonna take some time to get right

They have to stay on top of whatever health issues they have to make sure they aren't complicating things and make sure they're drinking a lot of water
