Does it make sense to work out if you smoke a pack of cigarettes a day and eat unhealthy?

I'm the right weight for my size, and don't have serious medical problems (Just hypertension and acid reflux). Don't drink or drug.

I've been hitting 100 situps and running/walking 4 miles every other day for about a month and a half. I've also changed my diet to no fast food at all and basically just eating grilled chicken salads and nothing but water.

Is this a good way to lose some belly fat and get my 6 pack going? I've already seen changes.

What are your thoughts on body dismorphia for someone in shape?

Most people don't see themselves like others see you. And most of the time you see yourself in a worst light

It's more common than people think but isn't major like the extreme cases

It always makes sense to workout plus it could change your perspective on things once you start gettin and seein some results while gettin compliments and you might just quit all of that shyt and be like :ohhh: I like where this shyt is going, let me be more dedicated to it

At the very least you'll make some type of gains and set yourself up in the future if you do decide to be on health and fitness shyt full time

Will I be alright if I'm consistent and have proper form, but tend to overeat(carbs mostly)? I actually enjoy going to the gym, but find it somewhat difficult to resist eating cleaner/healthier meals(pizza/Chinese food/etc)

The gym isn't the reason they died breh, it was some underlying condition that would've killed them anyway sooner or later

For your people just tell them to pace themselves and stay on top of that diet. Gettin healthy isn't something that happens over night. I always tell folks, it took you years to get to where you are now as far as unhealthy living so it's gonna take some time to get right

They have to stay on top of whatever health issues they have to make sure they aren't complicating things and make sure they're drinking a lot of water

understood.

At least they have the healthy eating part down.

What percentage of gym goers make it into the 1000lb club?

How many times can you squat 225?

Not that many becaus most don't do squats like that. On a good day I would think at least 30 but that depends on how my back is feeling

Definitely, the diet and cardio moreso than the ab work itself. The biggest fitness myth out there is doin ab workouts will get you a six pack. Nah doin cardio/workout out, eating right on top of ab work will get you right.

Do fukked up rotary cuffs ever heal on their own? :to:

Yes they will with time and if you take the steps necessary to help the healing process with stretching and light rotator cuff work, go on YouTube.

You'll have to stay away from lifting for awhile tho because they heal slow as fukk due to low blood flow

Brain aneurysm . He was in great shape (Corrections Officer w/o 5X ) a week but he had bad eating habits that were hard to kick , even after open heart surgery three years prior.

My diet was always much better but I still changed a lot of my eating habits after he passed.

I'm not perfect but I feel healthy inside and out.
:damn: Sorry to hear that breh, I thought I was being paranoid when I'd feel pain at the back of my head while pushing my max, what excercise was he doing?

And @Luck is there a way to avoid the brain blood pressure rising to dangerous levels? How do you tell when it's too much? And does having caffeine or Nitric Oxide increase the chances of some bullshyt like this happening?

Also, do you sacrifice form when you tryin to step your max weight up to the next level for example by half-reppin it until you settle at the new level?
