I'll be 37 on Saturday and I've been introspective the past few days about this journey called life.
Some things that have learned along the way:
Human beings are fickle as hell.

You don't really have any true friends, people hang with you for what you can provide for them, and they drop you when they're done with you. Of course they're exceptions but it's rare.

Cherish your parents ( both my mom and dad passed away in my 20s) Your mom is the only woman that will love you unconditionally.

There is no such thing as a female friend, once she gets some new d##k in her see how much of a friend you really are

Life ain't fair, so it's okay to play the system every now and then

Men are bigger haters than women

Your own family will hate on you, or stab you in the back if push comes to shove

Looks don't matter..... kinda sorta

If you don't know what your talking about shut the hell up

Don't move in with a broke chick

Don't fukk around with married women

Stay on top of your credit.

Save money , even if it's 10 or 25 dollars out of your check

I'm usually GMB or HOH but if you find a good partner keep them, it's nothing out here but drama and STDs

That's all my wisdom for now, if I can of anything else I'll post

Those are things you’ve learned, but they aren’t really lessons. I :salute: you for the thread, but young brehs aren’t going to get much from it because there’s no context. You literally just summarize a bunch of points without saying why or how you’ve learned these things :manny:

Anyway if this is going to be an advice thread, here are my jewels (context, I’m 33 and make good money multiple ways)

#1 build your credit. It’s your financial social media. It’s how everyone with more money looks at you. Here are some ways to build your credit:

Finance things that are relatively cheap (couches and jewelry). Pay them on time every month for 6 months, then pay off on month 7. This establishes 6 months of credit paying AND early credit resolution which looks amazing when you’re young

#2 wear a condom and don’t fall in love in your 20s. Grind your ass off (not just work but gym, reading, eating healthy, mental work etc) in your 20s and when you’re in your 30s you’ll find who you want to be with and your selection will be MUCH better than when you were distracted and not established in your 20s

#3 save your money. If you HAVE to bullshyt, bullshyt on a budget. Buy used video games. Hit up cheap spots to party. Save the little money you’re earning.

#4 take advantage of opportunities. Move, travel, take that job out of the country or on the other side of the country. Do those things while you’re young and create your path.

#5 Be grateful and learn from older people. A lot of older people want you to be a sponge because they can live vicariously through you. They want to tell you what to avoid, what to pursue because they have regrets. Listen and learn before you’re :flabbynsick:

Lastly, get outside. This phone/internet shyt is really shaping how some of you see the world and the world is much different than the pockets of the internet that you are choosing to sit in.

OP..

Just know that the journey continues...

There will be a time where you simply want peace in your life! Anybody or anything that stands in the way of you achieving peace will NOT be tolerated by you!

If you can reach out and teach the lessons of life to someone willing to listen, then do so..

Seems like you on the right path...

Salute!

I learned not to take life so serious , it’s a simulation anyways

I think once people realize that then depression, sadness , loneliness and others problems become obsolete
