While it was true that scientists didn't understand how a bumble bee could fly from a conventional aerodynamic point of view, they have since figured it out.
They built a large mechanical model of the bees wings & mimicked it's motion in a wind tunnel with smoke. They observed that their wings create a vortex of negative air pressure above their wings, something like a sideways funnel/tornado. The positive air pressure beneath the bee's wings creates the lift that allows the bee to fly. No need for spooky nonsense.

Explain how the travel in perfectly straight lines everwhere they go. They put trackers on these things and the 30mph winds had zero effect on them.
