Why don't you get that hip hop can do more damage than good today?... I think that's where the disconnect with you is. You're not acknowledging ANY effect at all, and assuming we're saying it's the end all, be all.

It's like white people that deny racism has an effect today because we have a black president.

They won't even acknowledge the white privilege that exist.

Because said damage predates that claim, in fact Hip-Hop itself is a reflection of that, like majority of art it's a reflection of the times.

That really is childish, myopic, borderline dehumanizing and intellectually insulting thinking that music causes people to do drugs when the it's never truthfully been proven.

By that same pattern of thinking, Kurt Cobain is responsible for Seattle's high suicide rates. It's idiotic.

- The hatred of black women
- The blatant homophobia
- The hive mind culture
- When someone leaves just the word "bump." Still don't know what that means
- The, sometimes, overwhelming negativity

The fact that @PhonZhi was getting debated with in that thread i saw from multiple angels baffled me..

I'm sure if I search I can find more, but my point is not to prove to you what I experienced...no body should believe that hip hop has zero effect, that's asinine..

If hip hop can influence the parents of children to copy their mannerisms and lingo, which influence the children to do the same because they are following their parents...how can hip hop NOT be influential in a negative way? How can that NOT be a cog in the machine to perpetuate oppression? ..

Proof is what they bank on you needing....Proof can be doctored, just use your common sense and open your eyes, that's all i need...

I'm black, and come from a black community, i don't relate to Kurt Cobain personally, so i can't say either or, we're talking about Hip hop...

@HankHill was debating it patiently...

It may have been more in that thread. Let @PhonZhi tell it..

I was astonished and thought it was troll work at first....but...no..

@PhonZhi is a hypocritical fool with a myopic view on society. No one takes him seriously.

And he still has yet to do anything in his community to fix this supposed problem of "negative" music

Peep these and you'll see the same handful of agents defending intentionally manipulated rap promoting and gloryfing black genocide:
