nah the charge is no longer on my record... and im 21.. in h.s we had to take sols idk what they're called in other states.. but basically tests to graduate and I used to get perfect scores, im far from dumb just never went to college... and my boy told me since im a lil smart after I take the test I should get into communications..

Then you are gucci brotha.

If you pick communications, 25B-Bravo is IT..If you go thru with actually joining send me a PM and I will give you more information on it. The pros are depending on your duty station you will get classes and certs like crazy. Depending on your work ethic you will get locations like Poland and embassies. These are non-deployable outfits so you can just relax and go to school in the evenings.

Cons- on the enlisted side making SGT is damn near impossible. You will an E-4 for at least 4 years which means you will be listening to mofo's you can't stand.

25C-Charlie. Radioman. You will be assigned to an infantry unit. The first person shot is the radioman :to: You will make rank quick though.

25S-Sierra = Satellites Possible locations at Fort Meade, MD great place for post-military jobs within communications.

Oh and talk to your lady and explain to her your decision. That means if you guys decide to get married she needs to understand you will be moving possibly every 3 years. You will be halfway around the world away from family and she just needs to suck it up and drive on with you or throw the relationship in the bushes.

Reason I say that is a lot of good soldiers turn into dirtbags because their spouses can't deal with THE DECISION THEY MADE.

Yeh man. Imma keep it real with you and this is just my perspective. Not all experiences are the same.

You 21? You are going to be in training with 18 year old punks who will "try" you and other degenerate mofo's. Just focus on your money. The shh is so damn easy yet you will see mofo's F it up getting Article 15's(take ya money and ya rank), put you on extra duty, have you slaving out in the sun moving sandbags cause you want to be an idiot.

1.Just be in shape. PT is life. If you a "stud" your E-2 thru E-4 will be easy. SGT's will leave you alone because you are their "soldier" and you make them look good by crushing a PT test.

Shoot expert with your weapon. You will go to the range so focus.

2.Go to boards and win, go to schools and get honor grad, etc.

3.Do you job and be where you need to be. Don't be late.

All these things amount to promotion points,so when you meet your time in service and time in grade requirements you will get picked up quick for your E-5. All these things equate to more money.

Shh is cake breh. And spend your time wisely. Take college classes. You will get $4500 a year while on active duty. That is not touching your GI BILL.
