lebron forgets there’s two sides to basketball……. his entire career he’s never had 200 steals in a season or even 100 blocks, being 6’9 270……..
It’s always the MJ stans that have absolutely no idea as to what defense actually is, and how to measure it. They’re always referencing some arbitrary marker of box score stats.

if you actually think MJ didn’t play much better defense than LeBron (especially now) while scoring more points then so be it. I’ve watched both so it’s my opinion. LeBron defense has especially been bad this year.

it’s odd you brought up a year where MJ scored more points, had more steals, more blocks, team has a better record with a worse team vs what LeBron is doing this year.

LeCenter is good for his stats. He move to the 5 and trick yall thinking he still that nikka when he aint top 5 and barely top 10 if that now. Most his career his game is geared towards getting his numbers while limiting his teammates unless they one dimensional spotup shooters so he can drive and kick to em.

Since AD went down they 2-8 and the 4th worst defense and 3rd worst team rating. Only Washington, OKC and Portland (who play G League players now with Dame/Simons/Nurk out and CJ traded) have been worse on defense and OKC/Portland worse overall.

LeCenter can boost his numbers fine but they aint defending or winning shyt unless they play another bum ass defense or Warriors without Draymond (their defense been ass without Draymond and they .500 without him too). Its a nice trick the dumb fans who see the game through pts/rbds/asts averages will still think he doin shyt out there but the ones who know the game will see it for what it is. Against the stronger defenses he been lookin :flabbynsick: but then he drop 40-50 on Portland or Washington and LeStans get :krs::mjlol:

He tried moving to the 5 and put up numbers hoping to get that scoring title to have SOMETHING to hang his head on for this season but he not even finna win that scoring title either. That gwan to Embiid or Giannis :lolbron:

You sir are an idiot

video was facts. bron iq is very high, but they're at a disadvantage with him at the 5 in some match ups. also true his footwork was never that quick to cover perimeter and his athleticism and stamina has fallen off some. he is more offensively versatile now than he has ever been though, which is why he can still score at a high clip.

bron haters are like pat bev. trolling most the time, never accomplished much, but take every opportunity they can to chirp. them dudes will do simone biles backflips to avoid acknowledging that man's greatness.

good balanced video about his skills and also how the evolution of the league and also the lineups make it easier for him to score now vs in the past. even some comic relief adding possibly a travel on a blatant travel on a clip where he praises his finishing.

Your opinion is based on your blinded fandom of MJ. You only ever post on this sub forum when it concerns MJ. You’re like many MJ Stans, in that you love him more than you love the game, itself. There’s no sense in trying to make y’all see sense, because you won’t. It’s a religion for you to stan MJ, which is why you can’t see anything outside the realm of that world.

It’s not odd I brought up that year, at all. I’m using the exact logic @Dwight Howard used to state Bron wasn’t “dominating basketball” and merely putting up “empty stats”, all because his team has a sub .500 record. Stating that MJ scored more points goes against your argument because it suggests he was stat-padding even more if we follow @Dwight Howard’s logic. Which is funny too because a lot of the criticism aimed at MJ early in his career was indeed based around him being one dimensional and to the effect of putting up empty stats.

So what?

Only select players have done that and they did it in an era where the rules and spacing was more optimal for racking up steals and blocks

Players like Sidney Moncrief and Dennis Rodman won DPoY without even averaging a steal or block a game

If steals+blocks is your defensive barometer LeBron this season is still one of the strongest defensive playmakers in the league he’s also top 10 in charges drawn :mjlol:

U don’t know shyt about defense or how to analyze basketball just give it up

For the most part MJ played with strong defensive supporting casts that allowed him to play his boom or bust defensive style

He would not look anywhere near as good playing on this flawed decrepit roster in the modern pace and space NBA. This is a team that lacks bigs and wings and does not protect the rim or three point line well and is prone to defensive breakdowns all over the floor especially in transition.
