The 19 Camaro and Mustang are ugly, mustangs interior are outdated; only interested in the Gt350/(R) models. I would pick up a Challenger S/P but you are right they are too common.

I'm back in a v8 after about a decade of driving all bmw straight sixes. Gotta admit, as much as technology is getting out of these smaller engines nowadays, there's no other feeling than pushing a big boy engine

Don't rule out the Dodge Challenger. Get a "special" challenger like the Hellcat-717HP or the Demon-840HP. Real muscle car heads know and respect the difference.

There's still plenty of options these days. Scat Pack, Hellcat, GT350, LC500 Jag F Type(V8). If you need 4 doors there's the Charger or SS(Sedan). The mustang with the 5.0 is still a good buy these days.

If you go Charger or Challenger you're look at $30,000 easy.

What's your budget? $35,000 will get you a nice used CTS-V with about 60,000 miles. They're pretty reliable too.

Charger, Challenger, Camaro, Mustang, 300c SRT8 are your cheaper options.
