Not really imo, moreso for stamina, better off just doing wrist curlsis this a good muscular exercise?
because when you jump rope with heavy ropes it's mostly just your wrist and forearms swiging the rope not any other muscle from what i can see

Don't be a p*ssy, go all the way. RopeFit puts out an 8.0 lb rope that's 2" thick. No handle joints so your wrists/shoulders gotta brute force that shyt too.
