for fux sake breh, stop being so damn insecure :snoop: Your city/coast is NOT on the line for this discussion.

I never said Cube was a clone or a rip-off or anything of that nature. I simply said his approach to hip hop had precedent. Just like Nas's did.

To dismiss Nas because his approach to hip hop had precedent but then say that Cube's approach didn't is fukking ludicrous. BOTH artists approached hip hop in ways that were set out before them. Both brought new shyt to the table as well.

All this back and forth, as well as the impressive gymnasting from you and your cheerleader won't change this. No matter how hard you try.

Now run along or keep being desperate.

Again, stop injecting fake emotion into things. You can't keep falling back on 'insecurity' or 'you are upset with SirBiatch' every time you get put into a tight situation around these parts breh.

You tried to say that Public Enemy dropped a year before NWA so clearly Cube was influenced by them, that was wrong.

Then you tried to say that KRS One influenced Cube because KRS was sampled on NWA's second album...when it was pointed out Cube was already making that music you dodged :yeshrug:

I don't know why I have to point this out again, other than to tell you that I already said I liked Nas more than Cube IN THIS VERY THREAD. Don't try to play that card to dance around your L here breh like it's some kind of fukk THE EASTCOAST AND NAS LOST! when you can see IN THIS THREAD I supported Nas over Cube.

What I was doing (and did accomplish) was proving that you were wrong and partially talking out of your ass.

Now go frolic in the Candian forest Rick Moranis. You are done here.

I used to think it was harmless allowing nikkas to have they own baseless, unfounded opinions....allowing nikkas to pad the statistics and resumes of they favorite rappers....But you let it go on for so long, unchecked and nikkas will actully start to believe it:scust:...Thats what that Cube vs Ghostface thread was,in 2016 its time to regulate, put nikkas back in the positions and tiers they belong in before nikkas was allowed to run wild:sas1:

This is the big problem with this thread.
Nas had at least two primes. Illmatic through IWW. Then he had the awful Firm album and I Am and Nastradamus were uneven to weak, at best.
So it's tough to compare these two.

I respect that, I'm pretty strict with how I rate albums but here is how I feel about Nas & Cube albums

Before you think I'm crazy, 5 is average and anything above that is above average which a lot of shyt I rate doesn't get that high

Nas
Illmatic 8.5/10
It Was Written 5.5/10
I am 4/10
Nastradamus 3/10
Stillmatic 6.5/10
Lost Tapes 6/10
God's Son 4/10
Street's Disciple 5/10
HHID 5/10
Untitled 4.5/10
Life is Good 6/10

Cube
Amerikkka's Most 9/10
Kill at Will 6/10
Death Certificate 8/10
The Predator 7/10
Lethal Injection 5/10
War Disc 3/10
Peace Disc 4/10
Laugh Now Cry Later 5/10
Raw Footage 4/10
I am the West 4/10

The only album I've ever rated 10/10 is D'Angelo's Voodoo, but hopefully this helps explain my reasoning for picking Cube, as I think he makes much better projects while Nas is often better at crafting individual songs

I'm taking Cube, cuz I could relate to him more. Of course Nas was a great lyricist, but a lot of his rap was fantasy. Cube hit everything from every day life, gangsta shyt to polictics. All round I think Cube was the better rapper because of content.

I would argue that Cube is more important to Hip-Hop but Nas is definitely the better rapper.
