this is your normal response. Can't debate shyt :martin:

What do you want me to debate? StillSoft rambling some nonsensical sh!t, as per usual, and I'm not gonna relegate myself the fool to respond back with logic. A simple "shut ya dumbass up" suffices.

Cube hit on everything. Reading is fundamental.

Nas does also. I thought you were implying that Nas rapped about alot of street and gangsta sh!t but really wasn't a street cat like that. We all know Cube wasn't the gangsta he built himself up to be on alot of his records.

I just never thought of NAS like I did Cube when it came to real life situations. They way Cube was going in on Bush was just :wow: I like both rappers but I view NAS as more poetic and Cube as more real in the sense of all the things he rapped about. Anybody rapping Gangsta wasn't gangstas back then. It was just what the record companies was pushin.

Quite a few of Cube's gangsta joints was more story telling versus him saying he did it.

Far as poetry, well lets just dig up maya angelou and tell her she aint shyt cuz she didnt have multis:laff:...a good poet is able to express emotion through they words, and in turn bring that same emotion out ofnthe person reading or listening....basically the measure of a great emcee to me.

Not only that but as a emcee Cube is more convincing and far more charismatic.....Cube introduced original thought/knowledge/game in such a way he forced you to view not only the world differently, but yourself differently....and yall got the nerve to question if Cube isna better rapper than Nas:pachaha:,tht aint in Nas pedigree,at least he has better taste than his fans,he's a fan of nikkas of that pedigree.

Nah man, like i said i respect Nas so this aint as laughable as that Ghostface comparison, but nah, just nah:snoop:

First off, maya definitely knew her way around a multisyllabic rhyme

Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
‘Cause I walk like I’ve got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.

:troll:

But on a more serious Nas much is closer to maya angelou than cube.

I saw a dead bird flying through a broken sky :wtf:
Wish I could flap wings and fly away
To where black kings and Ghana stay
So I could get my old flesh and rot away

I never sleep, 'cause sleep is the cousin of death

A thug changes, and love changes, and best friends become strangers

I'd post post more but I'm posting from a cell phone.

But you get the picture

Again, stop injecting fake emotion into things. You can't keep falling back on 'insecurity' or 'you are upset with SirBiatch' every time you get put into a tight situation around these parts breh.

You tried to say that Public Enemy dropped a year before NWA so clearly Cube was influenced by them, that was wrong.

Then you tried to say that KRS One influenced Cube because KRS was sampled on NWA's second album...when it was pointed out Cube was already making that music you dodged :yeshrug:

I don't know why I have to point this out again, other than to tell you that I already said I liked Nas more than Cube IN THIS VERY THREAD. Don't try to play that card to dance around your L here breh like it's some kind of fukk THE EASTCOAST AND NAS LOST! when you can see IN THIS THREAD I supported Nas over Cube.

What I was doing (and did accomplish) was proving that you were wrong and partially talking out of your ass.

Now go frolic in the Candian forest Rick Moranis. You are done here.

Call a random compilation done by someone who wasn't NWA nor their label the debut album, brehs. Just because you're desperate to argue they weren't influenced by PE and KRS-One, brehs :laff:

Coastal insecurity is a mutha :whew:

Nas Lists His Favorite Hip-Hop Albums of All-Time - DJBooth Article

So Nas was in the 64 bending corners now:jbhmm:

Nas was only inspiring nikkas stepping in pissy elevators, wearing timbs everyday....the numbers Illmatic did upon its release actually give validity to what I'm saying....You are unfortunatly speaking from a narrow view point/bubble if you believe that....Theres a reason Cube was the most anticipated emcee of the moment when he dropped, while Nas on the other hand wasnt....Its cute yall got a preference, but the facts is facts.....nikkas heard Nas rap and wasnt sittin indian style waitin for him to drop, maybe they heard kool g rap already:sas1:

When cube dropped his 1st LP he was already known from being NWA. He had more nikkas anticipating because of the work he put in the group he left which was probably the biggest group at the time. All nikkas heard from Nas was his verse on live at the BBq. 1 verse compared to albums doesn't hold no weight. Your point of sales doesn't really mean much here.
As far as poetry we are speaking of Nas and Cube, Mya has nothing to do with these two.

Was he the reason nikkas in the 40s were saying it?:francis:

Why do we say ether:camby:

I know nikkas said nikka before Cube:comeon:...Cube/nwa is arguably the reason we use it with reckless abandon every other sentence:sas1:

So being hyped as Ny second coming of Rakim and getting the first classic rating on your album aint better promo then being the 3rd best nikka in NWA?but your missing the point, even after everybody got a chance to hear Nas he still wasnt anticipated like Cube was as an emcee....im not soley goin off sales,im going off the real time climate....as a rapping which yall claim Nas is better at,Cube was more anticipated as a RAPPER strictly based on his talent on the mic, more than Nas ever was by hiphop fans nationally....these is hold card facts right here,if the blowjob Illmatic couldnt do the trick nothing would:mjlol:...anticipation for Cube did nothing but grow based off what he was doin to these verses, not because he was doin songs in pink suits or gettin Lauren Hill on his records:sas2:

Yall cant debate this unless you lived in a bubble at the time of course.

One of the most pathetic white flags ever thrown on this site :dead:

You already played the emotional card for the 3rd time, I thought by now you would go to your other back up by talking about yourself in the 3rd person. Guess not....
