White collar so we're talking finance, banking, accounting, management, clerical, IT, engineering, etc. I work in finance and don't believe the destabilization will happen as quickly as people claim. I also think a lot of work that involves client interaction will be fine for a long time. Things like tax and auditing will remain human based for most of our lives going forward.

A big AI danger to me is that as experienced/older people retire they're going to almost entirely be replaced by millennials - perhaps the last generation we will have that has basic soft skills and computer literacy. Younger people at companies doing grunt work are going to be replaced by AI instead of advancing up the corporate ladder. It's gonna be us (people in their 30s) taking over. And once we go it's a wrap. So if you're in your late 20s-early 40s you need to lean on your skills HARD right now. You can read better than the average person graduating from college right now. You have better social skills. You have better problem solving skills. On average, at least. Use it to your advantage because the difference between us and these kids is STARK.

I'm not exaggerating. A lot of the college grads I interview these days are abject idiots. So if you are older do NOT feel bad about not being where you want to be. Find something you do and double down on it. You can out perform these kids.

This shyt is so true. Human intelligence will suffer as AI takes over rote skills. Medicine and certain other industries REQUIRE soft skills. But much of the work that people do (besides the service industry) doesn't.

Obama is right. People just old grumpy and scared of the future. And it’s ok to be concerned or not concerned about your job. But all you have to do is look at where these corporations are putting their money to see how many jobs will become obsolete. AI is not cryptocurrency. It is the same wave computers/ internet brought that changed the world in how we communicate, work, receive knowledge. This is a entirely different realm of human evolution. AI is very real and the world will change better or worse. The untapped potential that existed in many aspects is being resolved by ai in unimaginable time . Things we though couldn’t be possible

Yep.

People act like machines didn't take over the manufacturing or car industry.

Boomers retiring will be replaced by AI Agents that can handle their respective Business Unit functions. You will have a Managerial class made up of Millenials because as you mentioned Gen Z and younger are lol. The issue is Millenials are a large group of people and you don't need that many people with the productivity gains AI "should" yield. So Jobs will exist, "new jobs" will be created but willy you need as many people as we have that are working age?

That’s why I’ve been saying for damn over a decade
immigration in America is the fukking worst thing in the world

Because AI & automation is literally going to take over more than half of the workforce …
so why would a country bring in more people from the outside? shyt is about to get real ugly

there’s enough resources for everyone, the problem is the 1% hogging up all of those resources and then using race, immigration status, religion, etc to distract us from their greediness..

They will use it to become greedier. Think about how many unskilled labour workers on the west
Side of the word getting decent salaries in warehousing once the get ai up in there and working more efficiently then humans the workforce gets chopped while companies make more profit. The amount of strides has a.i has made between last year and this year is an astonishing and it’s coming fast.

Seriously, nearly everything, everything will be affected by A.I.

Don’t be naive.

If you have money be smart and invest in one of the gold-standard A.I companies. Start building a position if you haven’t already.

You are literally betting against some of the smartest people on this planet (Engineers, Mathematicians, Scientists, etc.) and driven C.E.O’s.

They are literally going to be powering up these Data Centers with nuclear power.

Starting to add CEG and OKLO to the portfolio because of this.

Goatganda the pearl of Africa
And people will turn on you when it cuts "non-compliers" off, because they will feel like,

"Oh well, you should have bowed to the system"

A lot of people will give into it, because of peer pressure and not wanting to lose what they have worked their whole life for. It's a devilish plan. People don't realize they are going to take it from you anyway.

And the trumpet will blow

Not long ago, Bezos revealed that his dream was for space to become humanity's home, with people visiting Earth for a vacation.

AI has the potential to be a very valuable tool, but I fear that corners will be cut and that it will be used to limit people's option so that they're forced to work in desolate wastelands to make ends meet.

It’s the other way around breh, they want to ship the undesirables out to space and have earth for themselves.

Think about it
